The short version. Run1000city records where you ran so it can colour in the regions you have visited. We keep your runs, your account email and the nickname you choose. Other people only ever see your nickname and how many regions and countries you have collected — never your route, never your email.

1. Who we are

Run1000city is an independent hobby project. The service consists of a web app, a Garmin Connect IQ data field for watches, and a server that stores your activities. Contact: [email protected].

2. What we collect

Account	Your email address and a hashed password (used only to sign you in), the nickname you choose, the country you choose, and whether you opted into rankings.
Activities	The GPS track of each activity, its start time, distance, duration and sport type, and where the record came from (watch, uploaded file, or a connected service).
Derived	Which administrative regions and countries your track passed through, and the badges that follow from that.
Watch pairing	A six-character code that links your watch to your account.
Technical	Basic request logs kept by our hosting providers, and a small log of watch requests we keep to block abuse.
Waiting list	If you ask us to tell you when sign-ups open, we store only the email address you type and the date. We write to you once, when there is room. Nothing else is stored and the address is never shared.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, date of birth, heart rate, or payment details. We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

3. Why we use it

To work out which regions your run passed through, and to draw your map.
To show your own history back to you.
To build rankings — only if you turn ranking participation on.
To keep the service working and to stop abuse of the watch endpoint.

4. What other people can see

If you turn on ranking participation, other signed-in users can see:

your nickname,
how many distinct regions and countries you visited in a period,
your position in the ranking.

Your routes are never shown to anyone else. Neither is your email address. Ranking participation is off until you choose it, and you can turn it off again at any time in the app.

5. Who we share data with

Supabase	Runs our database and sign-in. Your account and activities are stored there.
Cloudflare	Hosts the website and the map tiles the app downloads.
unpkg	Delivers the open-source JavaScript libraries the web app loads.
Garmin	If you use our watch data field, your watch sends the activity to us through the Garmin Connect app on your phone.
Strava	Only if you choose to connect a Strava account. We then receive the activities Strava sends us. You can disconnect at any time.
Mapbox / Google	Only if you enter your own map key in the app's settings to use satellite imagery. That key stays in your browser; we never receive it.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and activities until you ask us to delete them. Short-lived technical logs (such as the watch request log) are trimmed automatically and hold no route data.

7. Your choices

Rankings. Off until you opt in; switch it off whenever you like.
Nickname. You choose it and can change it in the app.
Access, correction, deletion. Email us and we will send you a copy of your data or delete your account and everything in it.
Watch. Remove the data field from your watch and it stops sending.
Strava. Disconnect it and we stop receiving new activities.
Waiting list. Email us and we remove your address right away. You do not need an account to ask.

8. Children

Run1000city is not directed at children. Please do not create an account if you are under 14.

9. Security

Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to your own records is restricted to your signed-in account. No service can promise perfect security, and we are a small project — please keep that in mind when deciding what to record.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.

1. 누가 만드나

Run1000city 는 개인이 만드는 취미 프로젝트입니다. 웹 앱, 가민 커넥트IQ 데이터 필드, 그리고 기록을 보관하는 서버로 이루어져 있습니다. 연락처: [email protected]

2. 무엇을 모으나

계정	메일 주소와 암호(그대로가 아니라 되돌릴 수 없게 바꿔서 보관), 정하신 닉네임, 고르신 나라, 순위 참여 여부
달리기	달린 길(GPS), 시작 시각, 거리, 걸린 시간, 종목, 어디서 들어온 기록인지
계산된 것	그 길이 지나간 행정구역과 나라, 거기서 나오는 배지
시계 연결	시계와 계정을 잇는 여섯 자리 번호
기술 기록	서버가 남기는 접속 기록과, 남용을 막기 위한 짧은 시계 요청 기록
대기 명단	「자리가 나면 알려 달라」고 하시면 적어 주신 메일 주소와 적은 날짜만 보관합니다. 자리가 났을 때 한 번 보내 드리고, 그 밖의 일에는 쓰지 않으며 남에게 넘기지 않습니다.

이름·주소·전화번호·생년월일·심박수·결제 정보는 모으지 않습니다. 광고나 분석 추적기도 쓰지 않습니다.

3. 왜 쓰나

달린 길이 어느 구역을 지났는지 가려 지도를 그리려고
본인에게 지난 기록을 보여 드리려고
순위 참여를 켜신 경우에만 순위를 만들려고
서비스를 굴리고, 시계 문의 남용을 막으려고

4. 남에게 보이는 것

순위 참여를 켜시면 로그인한 다른 이용자에게 닉네임 · 기간별 구역 수 · 나라 수 · 등수가 보입니다. 달린 길은 누구에게도 안 보입니다. 메일 주소도 마찬가지입니다. 순위 참여는 기본이 꺼져 있고, 언제든 앱에서 끌 수 있습니다.

5. 누구에게 맡기나

자료를 팔지 않으며, 광고주에게 넘기지 않습니다.

6. 얼마나 오래 두나

지워 달라고 하실 때까지 보관합니다. 기술 기록은 저절로 지워지며 달린 길이 들어 있지 않습니다.

7. 하실 수 있는 것

순위 — 기본은 꺼짐. 언제든 끄고 켤 수 있습니다
닉네임 — 직접 정하고 바꿀 수 있습니다
열람·정정·삭제 — 메일 주시면 자료 사본을 보내 드리거나 계정과 기록을 모두 지워 드립니다
시계 — 데이터 필드를 시계에서 빼면 더 보내지 않습니다
스트라바 — 연결을 끊으면 새 기록이 안 들어옵니다
대기 명단 — 메일 주시면 바로 지워 드립니다. 계정이 없어도 됩니다

8. 어린이

어린이를 위한 서비스가 아닙니다. 만 14세 미만은 가입하지 말아 주세요.

9. 안전

오가는 자료는 암호화됩니다. 내 기록은 로그인한 내 계정만 봅니다. 다만 어떤 서비스도 완벽한 안전을 약속할 수 없고 저희는 작은 프로젝트입니다. 무엇을 기록하실지 정하실 때 이 점을 헤아려 주세요.

방침이 바뀌면 이 쪽 맨 위의 날짜를 고칩니다.
